The Cheshire weather was pretty grim this weekend, but it didn’t stop accountancy Partner, Lindsay Beeston, from getting out in the wind and rain to do his final training ready for our charity fun run which takes place this Friday 1st December in aid of The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.  

As many of you will know, a team of runners, led by Lindsay (who also ran the London Marathon this summer) will be setting off from our Afford Bond Accountants Chester office at 10.30am and running to Carters Farm, Weston near Crewe ready for the switch-on of the famous Weston Christmas Light Display at 6.15pm that evening.  We’ll also be supported by a couple of expert runners from Old Mutual Wealth, and everyone is welcome to enjoy the start of the festivities at Carters Farm.  Special mention must also go to Carole Sturgess who is keeping everyone in line by riding along on her bicycle to ensure the team are safe!
