Afford Bond Auditor, Tom Hornbuckle (33), will be putting his best foot forward on Saturday 18th March, when he takes part in the Wilmslow Half Marathon to raise funds for The Christie Cancer Hospital near Manchester.

Tom, who is based at Afford Bond’s Wilmslow office said: “In 2016, The Christie’s main research building was almost totally destroyed by fire.  Locally, there has been alot of activity to try to raise funds to repair the damage so that the important research which saves lives can continue, and I wanted to do my bit”.

And to make his run a little more intersesting, Tom is also running a sweepstake for his colleague to try to guess his running time to the closest minute.  £5 to enter – winner will receive a bottle of wine.
