Most UK mortgage lenders have now agreed to accept ‘self-serve’ copies of a person’s tax year overview which is available from HMRC online accounts, when applying for a new mortgage. This includes the SA302 printed from the CCH personal tax.
As at 22nd August 2017, HMRC have now made the necessary changes to their internal processes so that they can accept self-served copies of the tax year overview and the tax calculation from the HMRC online account. But so far, this only applies if you are arranging your mortgage through one of the following lenders:-
